The Russian version of EBMG was published at the international conference “Systems of support of medical decisions based on evidence-based medicine” held on October 23, 2017 in the Biomedical Science and Technology Park of the First Moscow State Medical University. Representatives of the Finnish medical society DUODECIM and Cochrane Collaboration – the international independent network of researchers in the field of healthcare – were present.
Director of the Russian Cochrane Center, Professor Lilia Ziganshina, noted that evidence-based medicine means that decisions on the use of any medical action are taken only on the basis of evidence of their effectiveness and safety.
Adaptation of EBMG in Russia was paid attention to by Valery Dansson, medical director of Algom. The implementation of the system will take into account the National Clinical Recommendations, standards and procedures for the provision of medical care, SanPiNy RF, the State Register of Medicines and other regulatory documents. EBMG implementation is supported by specialists from the Sechenov University, the Central Scientific Medical Library of the First Moscow State Medical University. THEM. The goal of implementing the EBMG in Russia is standardization of medical and diagnostic approaches by providing access to information about innovations in diagnosis and treatment for primary care physician.
