Current Care Guidelines

The Current Care Guidelines are independent, evidence-based clinical practice guidelines. These national guidelines cover important issues related to health, medical treatment and disease prevention in Finland. The Guidelines are intended as a basis for treatment and care decisions, and can be used by doctors, healthcare professionals and the general public.

The Guidelines are maintained and developed by The Finnish Medical Society Duodecim in association with various medical specialist societies. The Current Care Guidelines editorial team is responsible for the production of the Guidelines. The Current Care Guidelines are produced with public funding.
